2011 was a wonderful year for AHOY. Our meetings, on the second Tuesday of each month, were well attended and interesting. The health of our members has been a concern, but fortunately most of us are on the road to recovery. In addition to our regular luncheon meetings, our Valentines party in February and the Summer party in August (it used to be called our pool party, but nobody ever got wet) were really a lot of fun. AHOY now has 15 members, and all enjoy being with each other.
As "Auxillary Helpers of Yachtsmen", we are ready to assist the Squadron in any way we can. This past year, that meant providing and serving libations as well as preparing and serving food at Squadron meetings.
AHOY membership is open to any Squadron member and any spouse of a Squadron member. Luncheon meetings are low key and have proven to be lots of fun. For an application for membership, or to attend meetings as a guest, please call the Secretary, Carol Fearon at 850-830-2562.
